Asiatic lion also known as the Persian Lion or Indian Lion is a lion subspecies which is imperiled. This particular species differs from the African lion by an expanded sound-related bullae, a larger tail tuft, and a less created mane.



Kashmir Stag


Where to find it: Dachigam National Park, Jammu and Kashmir


Reason for endangerment: Along with biotic interferences, the degradation and loss of habitat from overgrazing are the main reasons of this animal being critically endangered
